On the weekend of 22-23 June, almost the entire team going to Lebanon this year gathered at Prima Materia for the usual preparation before departure. In total there will be 13 of us this year. The weekend was spent talking, organising, eating, drinking and playing together, especially focusing on the songs arranged for the Community Music project.

But we were not alone! During the same weekend at Prima Materia another group came together for a musical training aimed at deepening the practices of Community Music as a resource to counter social marginalisation through inclusive collective music actions: the MUSA project (Music and Solidarity). The MUSA group and the M&R group were able to work together and exchange ideas and experiences. We believe that these kinds of meetings and exchanges are essential for personal growth, for the project and for the community in general. And we also had a lot of fun…
